Who’s that girl? It’s Sarah!

First and foremost, I'm a follower of Christ, a devoted wife, and a proud mama to three vibrant little girls. My world revolves around family and friends, the joy of a good book, the adrenaline rush from a solid workout, and yes—the guilty pleasure of binge-worthy TV shows (shoutout to "The Office," "New Girl," "Schitt’s Creek," "The Mindy Project”). Let's not forget the love for a steaming cup of coffee, the art of home decor, occasional culinary adventures, and the simple pleasure of a frozen margarita (hold the salt, please).
Rooted in Richmond
As a Richmond native, my heart belongs to this community. My husband Peter and I, along with our daughters Mila Kate, Roxy, and Chloe, have woven the fabric of our lives into the tapestry of this town. After a six-year stint in Columbus, OH, we've returned home, and it's never felt better.
With a background in Elementary Education from the University of Kentucky and Information Management and Design from BCTC, I've spent five years teaching kindergarten in Ohio, embracing children from all walks of life. My experience with kids spans 17 years, from nannying to babysitting, and every gig has affirmed my passion: families and children are my thing.

Sunshine Play Café is more than a business—it's a calling. It's about creating a haven where families can gather to play, bond, learn, and celebrate life's moments, big and small. It's about being a part of your "village," offering a welcoming space for community events and family-focused resources.
They say I'm always brewing up something new, and Sunshine Play Café is my grandest venture yet. With Peter's unwavering support and a shared vision, we're on a mission to make this dream a reality for our community. Because you, our neighbors and friends, deserve nothing less.
