Sunshine Play Café in Richmond, KY is not only the perfect space for locals, but it’s also an ideal family friendly rest stop when traveling on I75. Need a place to stretch your legs, let the kids play and grab a quick bite? Look no further!
We have an indoor play area AND an outdoor play area! Having both choices easily accessible makes for the PERFECT setup on those hot sunny days. You can let your littles run around outside and when you’re ready for some cool AC, head inside to our incredible indoor play area that offers a little bit of everything from imaginative play to gross motor play!

2. We have a full service café, featuring FROZEN sweet treats and iced coffee varieties- plus so much more! Try our drink of the month, the Girl Scout Smore’s Cold Brew, and a Drumstick ice cream for the perfect summer day combo.
Don’t forget about our quick family friendly bites: chicken nugget baskets, PB & J, hot pretzel sticks with nacho cheese, hummus and chips and breakfast sandwiches.
3. Our play areas are enclosed and intimate! No need to chase your little one around, hover or worry about them escaping. Our play spaces are the perfect setup to allow care givers to participate in play or sit back and observe comfortably, while their little ones explore and socialize through play. If you would prefer to work while your little ones play, we also offer free Wifi. Checkout our internet bar that overlooks the indoor play area or enjoy the wifi access at the shaded picnic tables in the outdoor play area.
Did you know? We offer an evening play session every Thursday evening from 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM. You can come and go within that time frame, whatever works best for your crew. Reserve a play spot ahead of time or simply walk-in!
